Freezer Freak!

Penguin

Thanks to Dachu and Keerthi for the Penguin, the Camera and the refrigerator without which this idea would have just been another 'pop' in my head (!)

In Mastercard style,

Borrowing a doll penguin from Dachu (without Dachu knowing) = Rs. 0
Keeping a freezer open for a short time = Rs. 0
Meddling with Keerthi's camera in the name of experimentation = Rs. 0

Giving a very important Global Message = Priceless ;-)

SINGAM SINGLE-A PONA... PULI PUBLIC-A POGUM!!

Disclaimer: The title does not have anything to do with the sanitation practices of the tigers in the picture. It is for Punch-line purposes only.

This is picture is a documentary(!!) in a single frame on tigers. (I think so!)

If u can't make out what the tigers are trying to say, you can click on the picture for a larger image.

A trip down memory lane...

This picture was my first in image editing. Though I have made a lot of interesting photoshopping after this, a look at this picture takes me back to the memories of such kiddish gestures.

From here... (original picture of movie 'Aalavandhan' - 2000)

to here... ('Edit 1' with Jasc Paintshop Pro in 2002)

and here. ('Final' with Adobe Photoshop 7 in 2004)

Growing up and laughing at your earlier blunders are directly proportional to each other ;-)

Life Expectancy

This is a picture of an innocent sapling on the footpath, shot by me sometime between its birth above the earth and its death below the foot.

Life's not always about its length. Is it?

My self pod-trait

This picture shot with my N73, is the best self portrait photograph I have ever shot, thanks to the flaring chrome rear of my ipod.

Ippodhan 'ninja' karuppe

With 'Sultan' on its way, I believe this would be the future of brand 'Rajni'

black ninja

With the extraordinary support of japanese folks, this would be a great success.

Are u game?

Below Enemy Lines - The Intruder

Hedwig

When I noticed this strange behaviour among the crows in my back yard, I knew something was not right. As my eyes scanned the garden for any disorder, this nocturnal caught my attention.

I immediately loaded my canon and shot a few pics before the black battalion of crows launched an attack on the intruder.

But these poor guys didn't know that the owl was an actor in Harry Potter 6 and had faced a good amount of spells and dementors bravely. The crows were no match against the flying skills of the owl.

All the crows could do was to return empty handed. But they knew who their real enemy was.

They started planning an attack on J K Rowling...

Miniature Art

While I was trying my hand at the macro photography feature of my canon, I did a few shots of these mini idols.

Though these are normal 'plaster-of-paris' dolls, I wonder at the amount of professionalism in art, exuded by them.

Mini Gods

However small they are, Gods are Gods; similarly however insignificant they may be, art is art.

A neon cross atop a local church + 15 seconds shutter delay in ur camera + a pair of 'very' shaky hands = You are a modern artist in photography ;-)

Solar - Electricity !?!

It was 6 pm and the client representative was tired of my continuous bugging for Balance Sheet schedules.

"Karthik, I need a break man. Will be back after a tea. Join me?", he asked.

"Its ok sir. Carry on", I too got up to stretch my limbs.

I had been trying to get this guy at the right place but somehow he was escaping from me everyday, in a matter of minutes.

I got ready for the attack. At the exact moment, I pulled out my weapon and fired.
The sun was exactly behind the TNEB hologram.

Solar Electricity

Though the sun is behind TNEB's inefficiency towards handling summer power cuts, this 'sun being behind TNEB' turned out to be a good one for me.

Cool Circles

Guess these circles.

Hint: Both these mean to contain the same thing. But what one contains, the other does not.
